Lands’ End have been making cosy, wholesome clothing since the 1960’s. They’re experts in comfort having perfected the art of creating garments that combine strong, soft materials that fit all shapes and sizes. I’ve been aware of Lands’ End for a while so was keen to get to know the brand a bit better having been approached by them earlier this year.
Lands’ End was originally set up by Gary Comer back in 1963 selling yacht equipment to racing sailors in Chicago. The company shifted its focus from sailing to outdoor clothing in the late seventies and has being recognised for their quality and value ever since. Lands’ End also pride themselves in prioritising sustainability through their use of water saving techniques and use of recycled materials. All vital aspects of a successful brand in my book.
Cashmere Knits
Lands’ End have a large collection of all types of cosy knits for cold days – I keen to explore their Cashmere collection having heard about how soft and warm these jumpers are. There’s plenty to choose from including roll necks, scoop necks and short sleeved styles. I’ve always loved Fair Isle knits so opted for the gorgeous Women’s Fair Isle Cashmere Roll Neck Jumper in navy and lavender.
Women’s Fair Isle Cashmere Roll Neck Jumper – £180
I loved this jumper straight away! It arrived boxed up and wrapped in tissue paper accentuating the softness and delicacy of the knit. It is indeed super soft and not at all itchy (always my number one concern with any knitted product). Made from the finest Inner Mongolian Cashmere wool there is an immediate sense of luxury in wearing this jumper. Silky to touch yet incredibly warm without being too bulky allowing a sense of femininity whilst remaining super cosy.
Highlights: Soft to touch, warm without being bulky, gorgeous Fair Isle pattern, fits to size.
Thoughts
Like I said earlier I fell for this jumper the moment I opened the gift box that it arrived it. It is a little out of my price range but I can totally appreciate that it’s worth every penny. Having said that there is an incredible voucher code offering 60% off the full price (TXBR) which brings it down to a much more affordable £72. I know this will remain a trusted winter staple in my wardrobe for years to come!
I was gifted this Fair Isle Jumper by Lands’ End for the purpose of this review. All thoughts and opinions are genuine and my own.
